Christ Woodland United Methodist Church supports the Feed My Sheep Ministry providing service to the community at Redeemer North Hill United Methodist Church. This ministry includes:
Phoenix Performing Arts, a non-profit music/dance/theater arts group for Akron youth, is having in-person activities and rehearsals in former preschool classrooms (lower level) at Christ Woodland Church under the direction of executive director Amber Coughlin. UMCOR Supports East Palestine Residents
Many people want to help the residents of East Palestine, Ohio, as they recover from the effects of the recent train derailment and toxic chemical release in their town. The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) has set up a fund for those who wish to donate toward relief efforts. Donations can be made online through the East Ohio Conference website (www.eocumc.com/missions/disaster-response) for EOC Fund 9200 -- Disaster response in Ohio. Remember that 100% of ALL donations to UMCOR go to the work at hand. The committee's administration costs do not come out of donations, they are paid in other ways. UMCOR Special Advance Giving for Ukraine
Members and friends of the congregation who would like to provide direct assistance to those in Ukraine as well as assistance to Ukrainians fleeing to neighboring countries may do so through the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). Funds may be sent to UMCOR International Disaster Response and Recovery in these different ways--

- By check made out to Global Ministries/UMCOR with "Advance #982450-Ukraine" written on the memo line, either mailed and addressed to Global Ministries/UMCOR, GPO, P. O. Box 9068, New York, NY 10087-9068 or dropped off at any local United Methodist Church.
